Worth noting you should NOT use XCE any more, it was made out of date after the 1.6 update and any of its plugins will cause mounted combat not to work.

The mod does the following: Adds more detail to skin of faces and bodies. which is quite "idealised " while I have nothing against them, I personally feel these mods detract from the immersion of the game as it is supposed to be experienced-especially since a lot of them aren't designed with "realism" or perhaps even the "Skyrim atmosphere" in mind. XCE is a compilation of all the mod author’s work on the enhancement of the characters in Skyrim.
